These terms apply to every CatalystHub project: website builds, Shopify themes, logo design, care plans, Growth Pro and custom work. By starting work with us - paying the deposit or accepting a written proposal - you agree to these terms.
The short version: our packages have fixed, published prices, and anything custom is quoted in writing before any work starts. Website builds, Shopify themes and logos come with unlimited revisions until you’re 100% happy, and nothing goes live until you sign off. Standard delivery is 7 business days, and it’s in the contract. On a one-off build you own the code, the domain and the hosting from launch day. Prices are shown in your local currency.
1. What we deliver
Every website build, Shopify theme and logo below includes unlimited revisions until you’re 100% happy. Care plans, Growth Pro, Growth Advanced and AI automation follow the scope set out in the plan or quote. The inclusions match our pricing page.
Standard build (from US$500): A custom-designed 5-page website on Astro + TinaCMS, delivered within 7 business days of the kickoff call. Includes mobile-first responsive design, WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility, semantic HTML, schema.org markup, a simple editor so you can change words and images yourself, analytics set up, security hardening at launch, and a documented handover sheet.
Advanced Design build (from US$700): Everything in Standard, with an animated or 3D design treatment. 5 pages, delivered within 7 business days.
Specialist build (from US$1,500): Everything in Standard plus a more advanced custom design made for your industry, compliance with the rules of your industry and market, integrations such as booking engines, and up to 15 pages.
Custom Shopify Theme (from US$700): A fully custom Shopify theme made for your brand, with up to 10 custom-designed pages and custom integrations (apps, pixels, subscription tools). Copywriting is not included. Shopify’s own subscription and app fees are paid to Shopify, not to us.
Custom builds (custom quote): Anything bigger or different from the packages above: more pages, several locations, corporate sites, or links to your booking and business software. We quote it in writing, in your currency, before any work starts, at a fixed price wherever we can. A site of up to 15 pages is usually the Specialist build.
Logo design (US$199): A primary logo, a secondary mark and an icon, in every file format, with a colour palette, font pairing, a one-page brand guide and a social media kit. Delivered within 5 business days. You own the source files.
Care plans (from US$49 a month): Hosting, daily backups, security and dependency updates, 24/7 uptime monitoring and a monthly site-health report. Basic is US$49 a month. Specialist is from US$79 a month and adds compliance or Shopify update monitoring. Premium is US$99 a month and adds 1 hour of content updates each month. The first month is free on every new build. A care plan is optional on one-off builds.
Growth Pro (US$297 a month): A managed 10 to 20 page website plus lead follow-up: missed-call text-back, one inbox for your messages, automated follow-up, review requests and local SEO. There is no setup fee: your first payment is your first month. Growth Pro is a rented service, so ownership works differently (see section 3).
Growth Advanced (quoted): Managed SEO, Google Business Profile and Google Ads work added on top of Growth Pro, scoped to your goals on a call. Google bills ad spend to you directly.
AI automation (free plan, then a fixed price): We send you a free written plan within two working days. If you go ahead, the work is done for the fixed price in that plan.
Not included unless your proposal says so: domain registration fees, paid third-party apps or plugins, stock photos and fonts you choose to license, and Google ad spend.
2. Delivery and revisions
Standard delivery: Standard, Advanced and Specialist builds and Custom Shopify Themes are delivered within 7 business days of the kickoff call. This is written into the contract (see section 5).
Relaxed timeline (your choice): If you don’t have a fixed launch date, you can choose a relaxed timeline of about 2 to 3 weeks instead. It gives more time between revision rounds to review, test and fine-tune before launch. We agree the timeline at kickoff and confirm the delivery date in writing.
When the clock pauses: The delivery clock starts on the kickoff call and pauses while we’re waiting on you (content, approvals or feedback). You’ll always know in writing which side is waiting.
Revisions: On website builds, Shopify themes and logos, revisions are unlimited until you’re 100% happy, and nothing goes live until you sign off. Send each round of changes as one list, so nothing gets missed. We turn each round around within 24 to 48 hours. Bigger changes can take longer, and we tell you in writing when to expect them. New pages or features outside the agreed scope are quoted in writing before any work starts (see section 6).
3. Ownership
Websites (Standard, Advanced, Specialist and custom builds): On launch day we hand over the GitHub repository (you become owner), the domain registrar login, the Cloudflare account credentials, the TinaCMS editor login, and any third-party service logins (analytics, forms, payments). All of it is listed on a single handover sheet. You own your code, content and brand assets. Hosting on your own Cloudflare account is free for Standard and Specialist builds; a care plan is optional.
Custom Shopify Themes: The theme is built on your own Shopify account, so the store, the theme and its content are yours. Shopify’s own fees stay between you and Shopify.
Logo design: You own the logo and receive every source file.
Growth Pro: Growth Pro is a managed, rented service. The website and lead tools stay part of the subscription and are not handed over. If you cancel, we help you export your contacts and reviews. If you want to own your website outright, choose a one-off build.
We may mention your project as a case study only with your written sign-off.
4. Payment terms
Standard and Advanced builds: paid in full at kickoff. Specialist and Custom Shopify Theme builds may be split 50/50 (start / launch) on request. Custom builds and AI automation follow the payment schedule in your written quote.
Invoices are issued through Stripe, in your local currency. Card and bank transfer are accepted. Late payments accrue interest at 2% per annum above the standard commercial reference rate in your jurisdiction on the outstanding amount, charged daily.
Care plans and Growth Pro are billed monthly in advance. Care plans can be cancelled with 14 days’ written notice. Growth Pro can be cancelled any month.
5. Cancellation and missed delivery
Missed delivery window: On-time delivery is part of the contract. If we miss the agreed delivery date for any reason on our side, we continue working at our own cost until the site is live - no further invoices. This commitment does not apply when delays are caused by you (delayed content, delayed feedback, or scope changes mid-build).
Pre-kickoff cancellation: If you cancel before we begin work, we return the deposit minus a $50 processing fee. After kickoff, deposits are non-refundable.
Care plan cancellation: Care plan months already started are non-refundable. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the next billing cycle following 14 days’ notice.
6. Scope changes
If you ask for something outside the agreed scope mid-build, we’ll quote it in writing first. Nothing is billed without your written go-ahead. Common scope changes (extra pages, custom integrations) have standard rates listed in the proposal.
7. Content and intellectual property
You warrant that you own - or have a licence for - every piece of content (text, images, video, fonts) you provide for the build. We retain copyright in our codebase patterns and the productised system itself; you receive a perpetual licence to use everything we produce specifically for your site.
8. Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, business interruption, or third-party claims. Our maximum liability for any claim is the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the consumer-protection laws of your jurisdiction that cannot be excluded.
9. Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CatalystHub operates. Where a dispute cannot be resolved directly, both parties agree to work in good faith toward resolution before pursuing formal proceedings.
10. Changes
We may update these terms with reasonable notice. The version that applies to your project is the one in effect on the day you accepted the proposal or paid the deposit.
11. Who we are
